Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age of 16

  • Possess a Fundamentals of Instructor Training certificate issued in the last 12 months or have a current Health & Safety Services Instructor Authorization (FIT is included in each Instructor Course)

  • Pass each section of the precourse written exam with a score of 80 percent and demonstrate competency in the skills evaluation

  • Lay Rescuer First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor - 2 calendar years.  Will expire on December 31st.
